I was attracted by the mission of ToP and I believed that working for an international non-profit would be a good way to enhance my communication and research skills.
Threads of Peru brought together everything I loved most: the preservation of craftsmanship, weaving, natural dyeing, the quality of wool. That is why I chose to come and discover their work and help the association.
Anna has taken a break from working in the charity sector in the UK to explore her other interests of travel and textiles. Since December 2018 when she first left the UK, she has witnessed first hand the transformative power of craft throughout Latin America to women, their families and the wider community. These experiences have deepened her commitment to ethical fashion and buying fair trade products.
