Threads of Peru offers a small number of volunteer positions each year. Our placements are usually for the independent traveller, who can work well without much supervision and who is able to take the lead in their role. Find below a list of our current volunteer positions, please download the descriptions and follow the instructions listed about how to apply. If you have skills that don't fit into our current offerings, we welcome you to contact us and submit a brief proposal for your own volunteer position. We also welcome groups and we're open to creating custom group volunteer placements. Please be in touch with us regarding details, and scheduling.

1. Administrative Volunteer
Threads of Peru is looking for an Administrative Volunteer to support a fair trade artisan business while gaining experience and abilities helping us with administrative task and research of funding opportunities to help us achieve our goals and create a lasting positive impact. 2. Photography Volunteer

3. Seo and Writting Volunteer
We are currently seeking an SEO & Blog Writing Volunteer to help maximize our online presence and create fresh new content, that will help increase the impact of Threads of Peru in remote Andean communities while learning about artisan business, fair trade practices, traditional weaving practices and sustainability.
Location: Remote
Hours: 10-12h/wk for a minimum of 3 months
4. Social Media Volunteer
Threads of Peru is in search of a Social Media volunteer who is passionate about reaching out to the global community with the goal of communicating to the world the importance of sustainable development, fair trade, traditional practices and the work that Threads of Peru does to preserve the ancient craft of Quechua weaving in the high Andes of Peru!
Location: Remote and/or in Peru
Hours: 12h – 16h/wk for a minimum of 3 months

Impact Evaluation & Ethical Compliance Volunteer
Threads of Peru is seeking an Impact Assessment & Ethical Compliance Volunteer who is passionate about researching and analyzing the impact of a social enterprise in the remote high Andean communities, while implementing and managing a comprehensive guide of our compliance with ethical artisan standards, and learning about artisan business, fair trade practices, traditional weaving and sustainability.
