Handwoven Chinchero Wool Pillow, 100% Natural Fibers and Materials

Size: 40 cm x 40 cm

Fiber: 90% wool, 10% alpaca

Bring a touch of the Andes to your living room with this all-natural handmade pillow cover! This Handwoven Chinchero Wool Pillow is a warm blend of rich fall colors, like the leaves of a woodland forest in October. This inviting combination of colors is accented by thin stripes of pallay (traditional handwoven design) near the edges, adding an exotic taste of Peru.

This Chinchero Wool Pillow comes in Sunset, with a central panel of burnt orange and cochineal red at the edges (pictured), and also Rust, which is the mirror opposite, with a red centre and orange edges.

Together, these two Chinchero Wool Pillows make a great, complementary pair, or combine with one of our other cushions to add a boho flair to a sofa or bed!

Note: Excludes cushion insert. Visit our friends at Pillow Cubes for a fantastic selection of eco-friendly, recycled pillow inserts. Use coupon code ThreadsofPeru10 to receive 10% off!

WHO MADE THIS CHINCHERO WOOL PILLOW?

This Handwoven Chinchero Wool Pillow was handwoven in Chinchero for The Center for Traditional Textiles of Cusco (CTTC). The CTTC is a nonprofit organization that provides a modest but dependable income for close to 700 weavers in 10 communities. The CTTC is famous worldwide, and its founder, Nilda Callanaupa, credited for raising the profile of Andean weaving on the world stage.
