For a truly amazing alpaca throw blanket, look no further than the new Inca Alpaca Throw from Threads of Peru!

Woven in 100% natural alpaca, these throws are sumptuously soft. Alpaca fleece is much warmer than standard wool, so you will be vary warm when wrapped in this gorgeous throw blanket. Additionally, the alpaca fiber is hypoallergenic and sustainably sourced from free-ranging herds in the high Andes of Peru.

The Inca Alpaca Throw boasts an emblematic Inca design, which is known locally as pica pica (Inca Stairs or Inca Pathways). This design pays tribute to the Inca constructions, such as roads and bridges, in the District of Ollantaytambo. Inca roads were the most significant architectural works because they allowed good communication between communities.

Who made this Alpaca Throw Blanket?

The Inca Alpaca Throw was made in the high Andean of community of Chaullacocha at an altitude of over 4, 300 metres (14,100 feet) by an indigenous Quechua weaver.
