Woven Paths: Hotel Overview

Lima Hotel - Second Home

Located in the bohemian seaside barrio of Barranco, Second Home is also the home and studio of renowned Lima artist Victor Delfin; in this eclectic home come guesthouse artworks fill the spaces and views of the ocean complete this very arty outlook.  Best of all, Second Home is just a short walk from the atmospheric cafes and galleries of Barranco.  A perfect place to start your exploration of Peru.

Cusco Hotel
– Andenes Al Cielo

This is an exceptionally well located Boutique hotel, situated in the easily accessible Choquechaca Street on the way to the arty San Blas district.  Still quite new, the rooms are located around a courtyard with wooden floors, and natural colors.  These are adequate sized, very attractive rooms in a great location and one of our Cusco picks.

Sacred Valley Hotel – El Albergue

The El Albergue is an Ollantaytambo institution, being one of the first guesthouses in this quaint village and located right in the train station to Machu Picchu. We use the rooms in the newer wing at the back of the hotel which were only recently built and have views to the lush gardens. They also have less noise from the train station.  Exceptionally atmospheric, El Albergue has an organic farm which grows the majority of the vegetables used in the hotel’s classy restaurant, Café  Mayu.  You are invited to visit the organic farm during your stay.

Aguas Calientes Hotel
– Rupa Wasi

This small Eco hotel offers a peaceful, yet rustic, retreat from Aguas Calientes. Though you are still right in town, you feel that you are in the cloud forest with cute balconies, and sensitively and attractively designed wooden rooms. This hotel is our favourite in Aguas Calientes, with a real eco/ alternative feel…   Keep in mind that there are a steep set of stairs to get to the hotel.  Also check out their Tree House Restaurant, right next door.
